For a Japanese chemical company supplying the packaging and printing industry, Hays Sales is looking for a Business Developer to join the team and take on a new commercial challenge. 

You will join a company specialized in the production of photopolymer plates used for packaging and printing. In this new position, you will become responsible for developing a portfolio of clients mainly in the Benelux and the rest of Europe. You contact printing companies in order to introduce the specialized technology your company offers to print on various packages. You are mainly on the road to open doors and you will become the right hand of the sales manager. You’ll also work from the office in Anderlecht to ensure a good coordination with the engineers, graphical department and internal commercial department. As you are a part of a growing market, you’ll soon be offered plenty of opportunities to expand the business within the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate holds at least a bachelor’s degree and has a first successful experience in a B2B environment. Experience in the printing business would be a plus. You have strong commercial skills as well as a deep interest in industrial processes. You have an excellent knowledge of English and Dutch; any other language is a strong plus. You like working in an atmosphere that gives you the possibility to endorse a lot of responsibilities in an autonomous manner. You are flexible to travel.
