Senior Skype for Business Engineer - Anankei


We are looking for an experienced Skype for Businees engineer.
Your tasks will mainly consist of:

- Work on tasks that are assigned by the project manager related with Skype for Business and ICall 365
- Check these tasks regularly in JIRA during the sprint as well the deliverables and the success criteria.
- Discuss the project topics with the PM in proper meetings.
- Write design documents and standard operations procedures.
- Architecture and engineering of Microsoft Skype for Business Server, providing guidance and deep technical knowledge on various Skype for Business architecture elements deployed in an Enterprise environment, including but not limited to:
- Frontend Server Deployment
- Edge Server and External Access
- Mediation Server
- SQL Server Express and SQL Server Enterprise Server
- Skype Room System Devices
- Identify improvements, create small projects and conduct strategic planning exercises with senior stakeholders to develop roadmap and objectives, review current and proposed architecture to arrive at an agreed end-state solution.
- Implement, communicate, report and close the Changes
- Configuration, Maintenance and administration of corporate Skype for Business environments
- Maintaining the effective operation of the Skype for Business and the Sonus servers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to Skype for Business and Sonus Gateways
- Applying upgrades and patches to Skype for Business software and servers
- Responds to alerts delivered by internal monitoring system
- Creating, updating and closing all incident tickets in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain documentation
- Completion of assigned projects


What we are looking for:

- Must have experience with either Skype for Business or Lync

- Experience with SkypeShield is a plus

- Experience deploying and configuring Lync/Skype for Business audio, video and telephony solutions as well as integration with Exchange/Office 365 Unified Messaging 

- Experience integrating Skype for Business with other unified communications systems (chat, media, video, voice)

- Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills as well as collaboration skills. Able to convey technical concepts to individuals without prior technical knowledge or understanding of topics.

- Able to coordinate and collaborate with business application stakeholders and infrastructure teams to ensure successful upgrades, installations or integration activities 

- Strong analytical skills; able to assess and solve issues in a high-pressure environment

- Skills and proven experience with following products (in priority order):

- Skype for Business Server
- Lync Server 2013
- Windows Server 2008/2012
- Microsoft SQL
- Citrix XenDesktop
- Dell/WYSE WTOS Thin Clients
- VoiP, SIP and SIP trunking (Centralized, Local)
- Network Architecture and QoS (optimized for real-time voice/video)
- Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging
- Fault-tolerant and Highly Available Architecture
- Sonus Gateway strong knowledge
- Knowledge about the Anyware365 product is a nice to have
